The U.S. Department of Justice states that ADA Title III applies to businesses open to the public and has taken the position that ADA requirements apply to goods, services, privileges, and activities offered by public accommodations on the web.

ADA Title II and Section 508 are not treated here as blanket requirements for Connect System because Title II concerns state/local government entities and Section 508 primarily concerns federal information and communication technology. Their applicability depends on the entity and circumstances.
